The Transport Safety Board has within its powers to intervene in occurrences involving vehicles of more than one mode of transport and which, due to its magnitude, institutional gravity or technical significance, merits to conduct technical investigations with a multimodal approach, in order to contribute to the improvement of the transport system. Once the process of investigation and analysis of the event is concluded, TSB performs the control of the safety measures implemented.
